How Stuff Works - Hydraulic Power

— Hyspecs Hydraulics

Hydraulic power is generated through a combination of oil flow and pressure. Oil flow and pressure is created from a hydraulic pump and transmitted through hoses or tubes, via control valves, to the hydraulic motor or cylinder that will do the work.

Ever wondered how Hydraulic Power works? We don't realise how hydraulic power is used all around us in our everyday lives, how many powerful machines are being used behind factory walls when we pass by on our travels.

Products, buildings and everyday objects may have had some form of hydraulics used in the process of creating them, but we would never realise the power of hydraulics unless we came across those industries.

Another great way to build on the knowledge you might already have is the Hyspecs Hydraulic Training Seminar. You can email hyspecs@hyspecs.com.au to find out more or to book a personalised training session for you and your colleagues.
